Job Description

The American Center for Mobility is the catalyst for the advancement of mobility solutions focused on three main areas that will drive the global mobility industry forward to include testing, standards and education. As a not-for-profit public and private partnership comprised of government, industry and academic stakeholders, the ACM provides a neutral platform for companies to integrate smart mobility technology solutions in real-world, intentionally challenging environments, separating it from other testing facilities from around the world.

The American Center for Mobility (ACM) is looking for an innovative, creative and motivated Marketing & Digital Media Specialist to join our growing team. If you are passionate about the mobility ecosystem, entrepreneurial and skilled in orchestrating digital journeys using various online marketing tools, like websites, webinars and blogs, this position is for you. You will work with a variety of departments and stakeholders to develop marketing, event, engagement, and promotional content and activities using media and digital tools. Ultimately, you should be able to promote ACM and increase engagement with our various audiences by driving original content focused on mobility topics. In this position, you will report to the Director of Strategy, Marketing & Programs. Work is primarily remote, with in-person work required as needed to support ACM activities at our 500-acre smart mobility test center in Ypsilanti, or at various locations throughout the Ann Arbor & Detroit-Metro regions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a wide variety of marketing initiatives designed to enhance the organization’s visibility in the industry, ensuring consistent messaging and branding
  • Develop and execute a social media growth strategy, maintain a social media content calendar, and compile comprehensive digital media reports
  • Oversee and integrate all aspects of the organization’s digital presence
  • Work collaboratively with content producers to ensure the development of digital content via all digital distribution platforms so as to achieve the highest level of impact and return
  • Oversee the organization’s website editorially and strategically, including content, analytics, and staff responsibilities.
  • Manage digital and online journey
  • Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Drive the creation of branded digital content (e.g. website, blogs, press releases, social media, webinars, and podcasts)
  • Manage end-to-end digital projects
  • Grow our web presence and boost brand awareness
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Maintain a strong online company voice through social media
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to align on content and initiatives
  • Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase engagement and build pipeline
  • Monitor ROI and KPIs
  • Stay up-to-date with digital media developments
  • Drive online and digital customer engagement, experience, and lead generation
  • Support other marketing activities including onsite events as needed

Requirements

  • BS degree in marketing, digital media or a related field
  • Proven skills in the use and integration of tools to manage the customer journey including email campaign managers, Salesforce, CRM platforms, etc.
  • Additional qualifications in web design, SEO, project management, or user experience are preferred
  • Proven working experience in marketing with a focus leading digital content creation and engagement through a variety of platforms (email, webinar, blog, social, website, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge graphic and other media editing software
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with visual communication principles
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
